Mrs Amanda Hauuanga

Managing Owner

Professional Profile

Amanda Hauuanga began her career at the Namibian Investment Centre under the Ministry of Trade and Industry, where she served as an Investment Promotion Officer. Her dedication and performance earned her a promotion to Deputy Director for Investor Services. After five years in public service, she transitioned to the financial sector, joining NIB Namibia as a Portfolio Manager, overseeing institutional pension fund investments for nearly two years.

She then moved into the telecommunications industry, taking on the role of Commercial General Manager at Telecom Namibia. In this capacity, she led the marketing, sales, and customer care divisions for 13 years until June 2013.

In the second half of 2013, Amanda ventured into entrepreneurship, establishing herself in the event management industry. She initially launched Veda Creations, later rebranding to Celebrations Events—a company specializing in corporate events, weddings, and special occasion planning.

Academically, Amanda holds a B.Comm (Hons), a BA (Hons), and an MBA from the University of the Western Cape and the University of Stellenbosch Business School. She has also completed the Executive Development Programme at the University of Stellenbosch Business School, event planning training at the South African School of Weddings, and earned a Bible Leadership Certificate from Every Nation Bible School in Windhoek. Currently, she serves as the Deputy Chairperson of the Board of Directors at Telecom Namibia
